Ice Hotel & Snow Restaurant Experience

Imagine sleeping in a palace sculpted entirely from ice, where the walls, beds, and even the drinking glasses are carved from crystal-clear Arctic ice. The Lapland Ice Hotel is one of the most extraordinary accommodations in the world, rebuilt every winter with intricate ice carvings, glowing ice chandeliers, and stunning frozen artwork. Guests can book a night in a thermal sleeping bag on a bed made of ice, covered in warm reindeer hides, and experience a truly silent, dreamlike sleep in temperatures that hover around -5°C (23°F). The hotel also features an Ice Chapel, where couples can exchange vows in a dazzling frozen setting.

A Frozen Fairytale!

Dining at the Snow Restaurant is an equally magical experience. Guests are served gourmet dishes on frozen tables, eating from ice plates while seated on fur-covered ice benches. Signature dishes include smoked reindeer, Arctic char, and cloudberry desserts, all sourced from local Lapland ingredients. After dinner, visitors can enjoy a cocktail from the Ice Bar, where drinks are served in hand-sculpted ice glasses. For those not staying overnight, guided tours of the Ice Hotel and Snow Village allow guests to marvel at the breathtaking ice architecture. This fleeting masterpiece melts away every spring, only to be rebuilt with a brand-new design the following winter.
